Invimed is the chain of fertility treatment clinics in Poland, founded in 2001. Today, Invimed consists of 6 specialist facilities in: Warsaw (2 clinics), Wrocław, Poznań, Gdynia and Katowice. All Invimed clinics carry out the state-funded in vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment programme.
A qualified, experienced team of internationally certified doctors and embryologists in the field of fertility provides highly specialised diagnosis and effective treatment of fertility, helping patients on their journey to parenthood. Patients can benefit from advanced assisted reproduction methods, including in vitro fertilisation (also using donor reproductive cells) and insemination. Invimed also offers the latest and non-invasive embryo genetic testing and prenatal testing. The clinics make it possible to secure fertility, e.g. in cases of female and male cancer or endometriosis. More than 14,000 children have already been born thanks to Invimed clinics.
Both the diagnosis and the treatment when infertility is diagnosed are selected individually for each couple.
A fertility evaluation includes a series of tests for both partners. At each clinic we offer:
- a wide range of laboratory tests (blood tests, hormone levels, advanced genetic tests),
- procedures for women (Sono HSG to check whether the fallopian tubes are blocked, hysteroscopy, ultrasound examinations)
- tests for men (e.g. state-of-the-art sperm tests; genetic sperm tests, testicular biopsy, ultrasound scan)
- consultations with specialists (endocrinologist, andrologist, urologist, dietician, psychologist, geneticist).
During treatment, we use methods aimed at promoting natural fertility. In many cases there are medical indications, we use advanced medical technologies in in vitro fertilisation (also using donor reproductive cells), insemination.
We also have many years of experience in treating patients who experience miscarriages.
Invimed is the forerunner of fertility preservation for oncology patients in Poland (so-called oncopulation). As of 1st June 2024, the oncopombination procedure is reimbursed in a government programme implemented by all our clinics.
Because of high IVF success rates, we are among the best fertility treatment clinics both in Poland and throughout Europe. Between 2017 and 2021, of all IVF cycles carried out in Invimed clinics, as many as 62% ended in pregnancy. This compares with an average success rate of 37.3% in Poland and 33.2% across Europe.
We make sure that couples coming to us feel comfortable, so the doctor who prepares and qualifies patients for a specific programme accompanies them throughout the treatment process. From the first visit to the clinic, patients are guided by a Care Coordinator who is happy to answer any questions. Endocrinologists, urologists, andrologists and geneticists also consult at each clinic. We also offer support from psychologists and nutritionists to support our patients on their journey to parenthood.
We are aware of the fact that diet may influence fertility. This is why all of our clinics employ dieticians who are happy to offer good advice on healthy eating. Each clinic also provides consultations with an endocrinologist, urologist, andrologist and geneticist.

The first step to assess patient's fertility is to conduct semen analysis.
