The Cardiology Department, thanks to the use of the most modern equipment and qualified personnel, is able to provide quick diagnostics and the comprehensive treatment of patients with circulatory system diseases. The Cardiology Department provides services contracted by the National Health Fund (NFZ) and operates a 24/7 emergency unit.
A modern Haemodynamics Laboratory is located here, as well as an Electrophysiology Laboratory and a 10-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit dedicated to patients who have had invasive cardiologic procedures and that require intensive care.
Life-threatening medical emergencies
Thanks to the interventions made at the Haemodynamics Laboratory and Electrophysiology laboratory and the full monitoring of positions at the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, we treat acute cardiac conditions 24 hours a day. These conditions include unstable coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction, complex arrhythmias, and conduction disorders, as well as acute circulatory insufficiency.
