Telephone medical advice

What if you do not have an access to the Internet but still need to contact a Medicover doctor? Or maybe it would be just more convenient to talk than type? Now we have a solution for you: Telephone Medical Advice.

Telephone Medical Advice is available every day from Monday to Friday from 7 p.m. to midnight, on Saturdays from 2 p.m. to midnight, and on Sundays from 8 a.m. to midnight. The medical advice is provided by family care doctors – just call 500 900 510.

The scope of services:
As a part of the Telephone Medical Advice services, patients can obtain the medical advice of general practitioners or paediatricians in the following cases:

  • cold, fever, cough;
  • abdominal pain, vomits, fever;
  • urinary infections;
  • rash;
  • preventive care;
  • discussing examination results;
  • advice concerning administration of medicines.

In medically justified cases, a doctor can also issue a referral for diagnostic examinations, laboratory tests or consultations available at Medicover Centres.

Each telephone conversation is recorded and added to the patient’s digital medical documentation.
