Telephone Medical Advice Service - Medicover Hospital

21.03.2020
Dear Patients,

The mission of the Medicover Hospital is to protect the health and lives of our patients. All the standards we have introduced aim to provide you with the best medical treatment. In accordance with the recommendations of the Polish Ministry of Health and the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate, in the present epidemic situation caused by the #COVID-19 disease, safety procedures must be strengthened.

In response to these recommendations, we have decided to launch a telephone medical advice service. Currently, consultations of this type at the Medicover Hospital are available in the following specialisations:

  • Gynaecology
  • Urology
  • Haematology (children and adults)
  • Male medicine
  • Bariatrics
  • Cardiology
  • Neonatology (as an option for a qualification visit within childbirth packages)
  • Anaesthesiology (as an option for a qualification visit within childbirth packages)
  • Laryngology (adults)
  • Paediatrics

This means that patients whose appointments have been postponed are encouraged to contact the hospital hotline on 500 900 900 to arrange a telephone consultation. During the telephone call, we will inform you about the details of the consultation and after that, at the time of the scheduled appointment, you will be contacted by one of our physicians. During remote consultation, a physician can give you advice, issue an e-presc.ription or, if necessary, recommend an appointment at our facility.

We want to ensure the highest possible level of safety for our patients and employees. We ask for understanding and responsible behaviour. By acting together, we can stop the pandemic. Additionally, we encourage those of you who need a medical consultation for one of the specialisations mentioned above to contact the hospital’s hotline. Our consultants will help you to schedule and arrange an appointment.

Please note that consultations are only available for patients with a Polish (+48) telephone number.
