How to prepare for tests/health advice

Results of tests and desc.riptions

Important! The test results are uloaded to Medicover OnLine automatically after 8 p.m. on the day of their completion. The doctor will comment on the results on their next day at work. You may collect hard copies of the results from any Medicover Centre. Before you come to collect the results, call the Medicover Customer Service Centre and confirm that they are already available.

  • You can also consult a doctor on-line and ask for an interpretation of your results (the service is available in Polish only) On-line consultation

Test results and desc.riptions

When will the test results be ready?

Test results are available through the Medicover OnLine app automatically after 20:00 on the day they are received. The doctor comments on the results on his/her first working day after the results come in.

  • Alternatively, you can consult your doctor online and ask for interpretation of the results. Chat with doctor >>

Note! Only the desc.riptions of your ultrasound and X-ray results are available through the Medicover OnLine app. You can collect your X-rays and ultrasound images at the Medicover Centre where the examination was performed.

Some specialist tests cannot be booked through the Medicover OnLine app so their results will not be available online.

List of tests not available through Medicover OnLine:

  • neisseria gonorrhoeae - culture
  • HIV 1/HIV 2 antibodies
  • syphilis serology (VDRL)
  • FTA syphilis diagnosis
  • syphilis serology - USR
  • syphilis serology – FTA-ABS
  • HIV 1/HIV 2 antibodies by Western Blot method
  • HIV - PCR qualitative test
  • HIV - PCR quantitative test
  • anti-HIV bodies with p24 antigen COMBO test

Test results with a referral to an external healthcare centre may also not be available through Medicover OnLine.

Important! You may collect the original test results at any Medicover Centre. Before you collect them, please call the Customer Contact Centre at +48 500 900 500 and confirm that the results are available.

Remember! We only perform examinations for valid medical reasons. It is necessary to see a doctor to obtain a referral for an X-ray, CT or MRI scan.
