The offer of the Medicover Hospital also includes a gynaecological ultrasound examination. It is performed by intravaginal (transvaginal) and transabdominal methods. The latter method of examination is performed in patients who have not yet started intercourse. Similarly to ultrasound examination of urinary tract, it is necessary to use an easily digestible diet and drink 1.5 litres of still water before examination. In turn, before the transvaginal examination it is necessary to empty the bladder and ensure intimate hygiene.

Gynaecological examination at the Medicover Hospital is performed by specialists with many years of experience. They use modern equipment, thanks to which the images obtained allow for a quick and accurate diagnosis, as well as effective recovery.
