What’s new in the Medicover OnLine app?
The end of the year is a time to review. Despite the many difficulties related to the global pandemic, 2020 has been extremely fruitful for us.
Did you know that this year…?
- we introduced additional security measures for patient accounts on Medicover OnLine
To better protect our patients' medical data, we have introduced the two-step login verification. When logging in to the Medicover OnLine app, in addition to entering the password, the patient must enter a unique code received from us via a text message. The two-step verification process can be turned on or off at any time.
- we improved the appointment booking process for English-speaking patients
To make it easier and more efficient for English-speaking patients to book an appointment with a chosen specialist, we have introduced a tiled system on Medicover OnLine. Thanks to shortening the process, users can find their health problem and the doctor to consult more quickly.
- we made it possible for patients to download their medical records online
To reduce the need for in-person visits at the Centres, we introduced a new feature on Medicover OnLine - downloading medical records online. The downloaded electronic records are consistent with the original.
- we updated and optimised the process of downloading and requesting e-Presc.riptions
We launched a new version of the e-Presc.ription tab. Now users can request and download e-Presc.riptions in one place, as well as check their codes.
- we introduced a triage survey regarding COVID
In order to ensure the safety of our patients during the ongoing pandemic, we introduced a mandatory COVID triage survey for patients when booking appointments. Patients at risk of COVID infection are directed to teleconsultations.
- we offer our patients telephone advices if in-person visits are unavailable
If a patient cannot find an in-person visit with a specialist, we advise him that we offer convenient consultations without leaving home. All you have to do is choose a convenient date from the list of available telephone advices.
- we display the details of consultations to patients through Chat with a Doctor and Telephone Medical Advice
To emphasise the benefits of remote consultations, we have included the summary of Chat with a Doctor and Telephone Medical Advice in the appointment history.
