Rehasport Clinic now in Warsaw

Rehasport Clinic is a state-of-the-art orthopaedics and rehabilitation centre. On 05 December 2016 it opened its Warsaw facility located at the Medicover Hospital.

Consequently, Medicover can offer their patients access to orthopaedic surgeries performed by recognised orthopaedic surgeons, who use their own modern surgical techniques and who provide treatment for Polish sports stars. The patients operated on at Rehasport Clinic can also benefit from postoperative rehabilitation, performed by qualified physiotherapists, using modern equipment and techniques, which guarantee rapid and safe recovery.

Important information:

• Rehasport Clinic provides services in the fields of orthopaedic surgery and rehabilitation.
• Surgical treatments and postoperative rehabilitation will be provided at no extra charge if they are included in patients' subscriptions.
• Only postoperative rehabilitation is provided for Medicover patients as part of their subscriptions.
• Standard rehabilitation will continue to be performed at Medicover or Damian healthcare centres.
• Medicover patients with recommendations for orthopaedic surgeries will be directed to the Medicover Hospital. The procedures will be performed by Rehasport Clinic specialists at the Medicover Hospital. It is always a Medicover doctor who refers patients to the clinic.

Orthopaedic consultations

• leg injuries - ailments of hip, knee, ankle, foot, etc.

Moreover, Rehasport Clinic accepts the youngest patients in its paediatric orthopaedics clinic.

Diagnostic imaging

The correct diagnosis often requires diagnostic imaging, such as MRI, CT, X-ray or ultrasound, to be performed on an organ responsible for movement. All those tests are available at Medical Hospital and are coordinated by Rehasport Clinic.

Treatments and operations

Orthopaedic treatments and operations are performed by Rehasport Clinic doctors at the Medicover Hospital. We offer hundreds of different procedures such as ambulatory treatments (e.g. stem cell or growth factor therapies) and highly specialised procedures (e.g. multiple ligament reconstructions or joint endoprostheses). We use minimally invasive operating techniques for quick and safe recovery. We operate using state-of-the-art equipment, which – when combined with the knowledge and experience of our orthopaedic surgeons – offers the best possible therapeutic effects.

Rehabilitation

At Rehasport Clinic, we pay special attention to rehabilitation. Working with patients, we use modern methods with scientifically proven efficacy. They guarantee quick and safe recovery. Thanks to Functional Biomechanical Evaluation (i.e. a series of advanced tests) we can monitor the recovery progress and determine the optimal moment when the patient can return to daily activities and sports performed under full load.
