“Emergency Duty” in Medicover Hospital

17.03.2020
Acting in compliance with the recommendations of the Minister of Health and the Chief Sanitary Inspector related to a state of epidemic threat caused by #COVID-19 and caring for the safety of patients, we have implemented some changes in the hospital’s current activities, which will remain in force until further notice. Medicover Hospital starts working on an emergency basis since 17 March 2020.

Emergency duty accepts the patients in emergencies and in situations of threat to health (acute abdominal pain, chest pain). We make urgent interventions in the fields of gynaecology, surgery, cardiac surgery, cardiology, internal medicine (expect for respiratory tract conditions) and paediatrics (expect for surgical procedures).

All patients with the signs or symptoms of infection are encouraged to consult a GP via phone call. To do that, please call 500 900 510.  If you do not need to leave home, do not do it – #stayhome. When we all take care for our safety, we can stop this pandemic together.
