Gastrologist (endoscopy)

Endoscopy is an examination used both in the diagnostics and treatment of diseases. Using a special tool, known as an endoscope, a physician is able to look at the body from the inside. An endoscopic examination makes it possible to diagnose the gastrointestinal tract, the airways and body cavities, as well as perform pre-operative histopathological verification of lesions through collecting tissue specimens.
