How to book an appointment at Medicover Centre?

  • Book an appointment for a specific day and time using the Medicover OnLine app
  • Call the Customer Contact Centre at +48 500 900 500 (open weekdays 7:00-21:00, Saturdays 8:00-18:00 and Sundays/holidays 8:00-18.00).
  • You may also book an appointment at the reception desk of a Medicover Centre

When booking an appointment for an underage patient, please remember that the child must be accompanied by a legal guardian during the visit.

Please bring your photo ID with you to the appointment.

You can collect the password to the Medicover OnLine app without leaving home, quickly and securely through a secure online banking system (currently: PKO BP, Pekao S.A., ING Bank Śląski, mBank, Getin Noble Bank S.A., other large banks will soon be added)*

How do I schedule an appointment at a cooperating facility?

An appointment at a medical facility can be booked by calling the facility directly. The current list of facilities and contact details is available at www.medicover.pl in the “Find us quickly” section. In the diagnostic and treatment process, a patient using the services of a Medicover Centre may require consultations in a medical facility outside the Medicover facilities. The patient will receive a referral from a Medicover doctor for their visit to an indicated cooperating facility.

How do I book a home visit?

You can book a home visit by calling the Hot Line Medicover at 500 900 999.

Home visit eligibility

In the case of persons with access to “care at the patient’s location for medical reasons”, home visits are approved by the Medicover Hot Line medical consultant on the basis of information received from patients. If no medical indications are noted that would confirm that a home visit is necessary, a doctor on duty or a Hot Line consultant will provide advice and recommend further actions.

  • Katowice, Gliwice – within a 30km radius of the Gen. Jerzy Ziętek Roundabout
  • Wrocław – within a 30km radius of the City hall, Market Square – Ratusz 1
  • Poznań – within a 30km radius of the PFC building, Pl. Andersa 5
  • Tricity – within a 30km radius of the Hala Oliwia building, ul. Bażyńskiego 1
  • Lublin – within a 30km radius of the City Hall, Pl. Władysława Łokietka 1
  • Szczecin – within a 30km radius of the Centrum Pazim building, Pl. Rodła 8
  • Bydgoszcz – within the city limits
  • Białystok – within the city limits

The “care at the patient’s location medical reasons” service is also provided by selected partner facilities. The scope of services provided by partner facilities is available at www.medicover.pl. A doctor from the partner facility will organise and approve or reject the home visit on a case by case basis. Persons who have access to the “care at the patient’s location medical reasons” service in their Medicover programme are entitled to home visits on request.

How do I cancel an appointment?

The appointment can be cancelled through:

  • Medicover OnLine
  • Customer Contact Centre (at 500 900 500), available from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays and public holidays
  • SMS – by sending a message with the word “no” to 9596

How do I contact the Medicover Hospital?

You can contact the Medicover Hospital by calling the Hospital Hotline (500 900 900). The hotline is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A detailed offer for the Medicover Hospital is available at https://www.medicover.pl/en/hospital/.

Will the doctor see me if I am late?

If you arrive up to 5 minutes late, you will still be seen by your doctor. If you are more than 5 minutes late, the doctor may decide to shorten your visit or reschedule it. This depends on whether the doctor determines there is enough time for you to be examined properly and for you to receive the adequate quality from the medical service.

How do I schedule an occupational medicine appointment?

In order to schedule an occupational medicine examination, please call the Occupational Medicine Hotline (at 500 900 700), open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. To ensure the highest standards of service and to schedule the appropriate examinations and consultations, please call the Hotline only after your employer has issued a referral for the examinations. We only organise these examinations for companies which have signed an agreement with Medicover that covers such services.
